Paw READATHON

  Sign-up to read aloud to Husker, our therapy dog, at the Youth
  Reference Desk. This program is for ages 7 and up.

End of Summer Minibeast Costume Wrap-up

  The Library will be buzzing with non-stop laughter and fun! Wear
  your bug costume and enjoy "Bugs, Books & Buffoonery", a
  comedy, magic, and juggling show presented by "Abbit the
  Average". Prizes, ice cream, face painting, balloons, and more!
  This program is for ages 3 and up.

Soaring on the Wings of a Tale
  Saturday, September 27

  Rollicking, full of laughter and fun storytelling extravaganza
  presented by “Flights of Fantasy Theater”, a dynamic team who
  puts a fresh interactive spin on folk tales, fables and poetry from
  around the world. Many of your favorite stories will spring to life in
  a colorful display of masks, props, costumes and more fun. Ages 4
  and up.

School Readiness Parent Presentation
  Tuesday, September 30
  5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
  Friends Community Room


  Come learn about your child’s development and district,
  community, and parent resources to help them grow, thrive, and
  be able to enter preschool and kindergarten with success! This
  presentation is geared towards parents with children birth to five
  years of age. Presented by Tracy Yogi, Director of School
  Readiness of SVUSD. All participants will receive complimentary
  parenting books and materials! Refreshments will be provided. A
  library tour for parents will be available after the presentation.

Halloween Hullabaloo
  Saturday, October 25
  11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.
  City Hall Saddleback Room


  Spooky-fun adventure with John Abrams’ Screamin’ Animal Magic
  Show. You’ll howl and shriek with a zany blend of magic, comedy,
  music, and live exotic pets. Wear your costume and enjoy the fun.
